CLINTON — Dora Lee Tyndall, 92, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
The funeral will be 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 20 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Oliver officiating. There will be a viewing from noon to 1 p.m., just before the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park, Dudley.
Dora was the daughter of the late Leslie Blackman, Sr. and Dora Johnson Blackman. Dora worked with J. West Clothing and Harvey's Laundry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Harvey Tyndall, son Jeffrey Lee Tyndall, and siblings Charlie Blackman, Leslie Blackman, Jr, Margaret Gillis, Altha Chesnutt and Doris Blackman.
She is survived by her sons, William Harvey Tyndall Jr. of Midlothian, Va. and Robert Wayne Tyndall of Goldsboro, Maryland; sisters, Annette Blackman, Nellie Honeycutt and Mildred Best all of Clinton; grandchildren, Kevin Martin Tyndall, Stephen Forrest Tyndall; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Mason, Paxton and Maxwell.
Dora Lee was a devoted wife, a loving Mother to three boys, and she enjoyed many days of laugher with her sisters and her cat Mutt.
