Master Sergeant (Retired) John Blanton (Top) taught ROTC at the Fort Valley State University in the 1970s. He made an indelible mark on my life and I will forever be indebted to him. Top is directly responsible for many of the glowing accomplishments I have obtained during my professional career! It would be a missed opportunity, if I failed to salute Mrs. Ellen Rose Marie Fisher Blanton as she reunites with Top! God's speed to her family members as they work through this time of sorrow!
