CLINTON — Gerline "Geri" Honeycutt Best, 89, of 804 College St., passed away Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at her home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 6, at 2 p.m. at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shawn Barryhill officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in 1936 in Sampson County, Geri was the daughter of the late Paul Vinson "Boss" Honeycutt and Otha Hairr Honeycutt and the widow Wilbert Best. She spent many years as a consultant with Mary Kay cosmetics and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
Geri is survived by stepdaughter, Judy Tew (Glenn) of Fayetteville; stepson, Dennis Best (Beverly) of Clinton; seven grandchildren, Timothy Lee Naylor, J.R. Naylor (Miles), Karen Crawford (Tony), Kelly Wright (Brandon), Kay Alford, Lesley Reeves (Byron), and Karmen Best; 11 great-grandchildren, Sandra Aaliyah Naylor, Timothy Lee Naylor II, Caleb Naylor, Hailey Cruz (Jacob), Tyler Crawford, Emma Grace Alford, Charleigh Reeves, Stella Reeves, Gabbi Cruz, Matti Cruz, and Isabelle Cruz; sister, Ondra Tew (Claude) of Eastover; brother, Paul Wendel Honeycutt of Salemburg; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Wilbert, Geri was preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Gail West; and two brothers, Larry and Tony Honeycutt.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Thursday beginning at 1 p.m. at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church 395 Vander Road, Salemburg.
