Jack "Carson" Wrench
AUTRYVILLE — Jack "Carson" Wrench, 69, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 25, at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman. Officiating will be Pastor Eddie Smith, Pastor Jeff Bartlett and Pastor Ivan Dickey. Burial will follow at Wiley Autry Cemetery in Autryville.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at the funeral home.
Carson was loved by many. He loved his community friends and stopping by the Grocery Barn, where he knew everyone. Carson loved Lydia's family as his own. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him, and as for his family, their hearts are broken.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Arizona Seals Wrench; father, Thedford Wrench; brother, Dick Wrench; sister, Liza Ann Brown; and an infant sister, Joan Delight Wrench.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lydia who was the love of his life and his soulmate as they did everything together; his step children, Lillian Hamlin & husband, Chris of Garner, and Mandy Autry & husband, J.P. of Autryville; grandkids, who were truly the apple of his eye, Haley, Skylar and Bryson; brother, Mitchell Wrench & wife, Marsha of Dunn; sisters, Penny Wrench Williams of Autryville, Betty Lockamy of Salemburg, Rita Thompson of Columbia, Ga., Patsy Perry & husband, C.G. of Seaboard, and Darlene Toth & husband, Mike of Flint, Mich.
