Neta Reaves
FAYETTEVILLE — Mrs. Neta Reaves, 68, of 640 Dunn Road, passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at Temple Baptist Church, with Pastor Kelly Bullard officiating. Interment will follow at T.J. Hall Family Cemetery in Autryville.
Neta was born June 4, 1947 in Sampson County to the late Oscar Carter and Bertha Hall Carter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was also a member of Temple Baptist Church in Eastover.
She is survived by her husband, Harace Reaves of the home; son, Allen Reaves of Fayetteville; daughter, Susan Reaves Williams of Fredericksburg, Va; four grandchildren, Ella Williams, Misty Smith, Tracy Murray and Nathan Murray; one great-grandchild, Dana Murray and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Temple Baptist Church, 3159 Sanderosa Road, Fayetteville, N.C. 28312 or to the Cumberland County Animal Shelter, 4704 Corporation Drive, Fayetteville, N.C. 28306.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the funeral home.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
