CLINTON — Rosalyn Richbourg Holland, 71, of 506 Beaver Dam Drive, passed at her home with her family by her side on Sunday morning, Sept. 28, 2025.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, Oct. 3, at 3 p.m. in the Sanctuary of First Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Seals and Rev. Ben Burrows officiating.
Born in 1954 in Sampson County, Rosalyn was the daughter of the late William and Mary Love Turlington Richbourg. She had a passion for education and devoted herself as an Exceptional Children's Instructor for over 34 years.
Rosalyn is survived by her loving husband, O.C. Holland Jr., of the home; daughter, Suzannah Holland of Youngsville; son, Chris Holland of Cape Carteret; two sisters: Susan Rider of Swansboro and Laura Stillman of Raleigh; brother, Bill Richbourg (Donna) of Winterville; two step-grandchildren, Cooper Pendergrass and Isabella Alford; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday beginning at 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall of First Methodist Church, and other times at the home.

To the Holland family, I´m Rosemary Malpass Creech and I was a friend of your mom`s while we were growing up in Clinton. I remember Roslyn fondly . Her blonde hair her radiance smile, her blue eyes her friendly nature was witnessed by many of us. OC, daughters, family friends. I know you will miss her. God will give you peace.
