Albert Brown Obituary

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."
"A Time to Be Born" -- Ecclesiastes 3:2
Dea. Albert Abraham Brown was born on January 8, 1945, in Savannah Georgia. He was the fifth child born to the late Charlie and Charlotte Brown Sr.
"A Time to Plant" -- Ecclesiastes 3:2
In the years of 1968 and 1970, God blessed Albert with two beautiful daughters, Centrella Tyson and Patricia Brown. They were the joys of his life.
"A Time to Live"
Albert received his formal education and graduated from the Liberty County School System in 1964. After graduating high school, Albert enlisted in the U.S Air Force, serving his country for 20-plus years, including a tour in Vietnam, before retiring. While serving in the Air Force, he became an amateur boxer and did very well.
He was an avid eagle collector.
After returning home, Albert took pleasure in serving the Lord and helping others.
He was a humble and faithful man who enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family
"A Time to Speak" -- Ecclesiastes 3:2
Albert was raised in a godly environment, so church was indeed part of his life. He enjoyed ministering to young people. As a result, he wrote many popular church plays. He was also the author of "Roadside Revival", published in 2018.
He loved the Lord and let the people he met know it, too.
He was involved in many church activities and he was faithful to help anyone he could.
"A Time to Live"
In September 1996, Albert married the love of his life, Ms. Gertrude Shager. With this union, he gained four bonus children. For 27 years, Albert and Gertrude spent every moment. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
"A Time to Die" -- Ecclesiastes 3:2
On Monday, January 8, 2024, Dea. Albert accepted his eviction notice and moved into the mansion prepared just for him.
Dea. Albert Brown was preceded in death by Charlie Brown Sr., Charlotte Brown, Minnie George, Mary Alvin and Annie Brown.
"A Time to Rejoice" -- Ecclesiastes 3:4
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Mother Gertrude Brown; his daughters, Centrella Tyson and Patricia Brown of Midway, Ga.; his bonus daughter, Dr. Tange (Overseer Jerry) Bartley of Savannah, Ga.; Christine (Greg) Green of Hope Mills, N.C.; Sherri (Vincent) Hamilton of Pooler, Ga.; Andrew Plummer Jr. of Raleigh, N.C.; three grandsons, Eddie (Janice) Brown of St. Augustine, Fla.; Willie Brown of Killeen, Texas; Deante (Qania) Lampkin of Hinesville, Ga.; five great-grandchildren, Jalia, Amir, Novena, Deanei and Messiah; six bonus grandchildren and five bonus great-grandchildren, one brother, Charlie Brown of Colorado; three sisters, Martha Jones and Elaine Watson of Midway, Ga.; and Catherine Balwin of Tampa, Fla.; two brothers-in-law, Jerome Shager of Savannah, Ga.; and Willie Shager of Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, spiritual children and sorrowful friends.
