Mary McClain Obituary
She was born in Glennville to the late William Middleton Jr. and Dorothy Roberson. Mrs. McClain was employed at the Smiley Elementary School in Ludowici for more than 22 years. She was a member of New Beginning Ministries.
Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories, her son, Larry (Neressa) Crawford of Ludowici; brothers, Nathaniel Crawford of Lakeland, FL, Joseph (Nina) Crawford of Lakeland, Jimmie Crawford of Ludowici and Levi (Etrenda Johnson) Crawford of Ludowici; sister, Willeen (Jerron) Johnson of Hinesville; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday, March 27, at Dorchester Funeral Home in Midway.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, in the Frank V. Givens Memorial Chapel of Dorchester Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Oakridge Cemetery in Ludowici.
Dorchester Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

There aren't enough words to express the impact of this loss. Mrs. Mary was truly one of a kind and will be missed by everyone that has ever passed thru Smiley Cafeteria. I am honored to have worked with her.
