Minnie Ross Obituary

Minnie Marie Ross, 86, formerly of Stuttgart, Ark., died peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, under the loving care of Heartland Hospice.
Minnie Marie, known as "Thuge" to her family and friends, was born on Nov. 25, 1925, in Crocket Bluff, Ark., to the late Rodger and Ida Hill-Bradford. She was a member of Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist in Stuttgart and an associate member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hinesville under the leadership of the Rev. M.L. and S.L. Jackson.
She loved to travel, play Bingo and spend time with her children and grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. Due to declining health, in September 2005, she moved to Hinesville to live with her son and daughter-in-law, Cleotis and Lillie London.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, one sister, two brothers, two sons and one daughter.
She is survived by a brother, Jimmy Bradford of Chicago; three sons, Andrew (Edith) Ross, Robert Ross, all of Little Rock, Ark., and Cleotis (Lillie) London of Hinesville; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Her viewing will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at Miller Funeral Home in Hinesville.
Her funeral will be on March 31 in Stuttgart.
Miller Funeral Home has charge of local arrangements.
