Winnie Mallonee Obituary

Winnie Ruth Mallonee (Abercrombie), 79, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2021, at Liberty Regional surrounded by her loving family.

Winnie was born July 24, 1941, in Conway, South Carolina, to the late Jonathan W. Abercrombie and Lutie V. Harris. She was the youngest of 4 siblings, all of which have lived close by in neighboring states. For the last 40 years, she lived and watched Hinesville grow into the big city that it is now, also known as home.

She was a loving wife and unconditionally caring and generous (grand)mother. Her daughter and grandson were the light of her life and made each and every day special. Winnie enjoyed living a simple life and preferred being around family and staying close to home.

Winnie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Johnny L. Mallonee; brother and sister-in-law, Albert D. and Betty Abercrombie of Hendersonville, NC; sister, Mary J. Bailey of Snow Camp, NC; daughter, Kristy L. Mallonee and son Brandon; stepson, Robert S. Mallonee and children, Christopher, Brittany, and Nicholas of Richmond Hill and Midway, GA; niece, Tammy L. White and daughter Heather of Orange Park, Fl.; and many more family and friends that she loved dearly.
