To the family and friends of Michael Francis O'Reilly, please accept my condolences. May you find comfort knowing that those who died God keeps them in his memory. And at Psalms 116:15 they are precious in God's eyes.

Mike was quiet and unassuming, with a great outside shot!

Hengameh - I wish I could have met you. Mike talked about the Tahdig you made. Mike seemed to have so many wonderful friends and he appreciated them all. He always entertained me with his interesting stories. I can not believe he is gone. So many laughs too. I will miss talking with him and hearing his laugh. I will miss hearing about his projects and latest discoveries - and what happened on this day in history - he knew everything. He was a very kind man and so full of life. Old Town Pizza and Old Roseville and The Purple Place and El Dorado Salon will ever be the same for me. I am sad for all of us who have lost our great friend and brother :(

I enjoyed dancing with Michael at the town center concerts. I also joined him several times at Lake Clementine on my paddleboard, while he kayaked alongside me. He certainly loved nature and the outdoors.

For all that knew and loved Mike, deepest sympathies sent to all.
He was an avid reader, lover of literature, friend of the libraries.
He enjoyed music, going out to listen to local live bands.
He loved being outside, working on his property and always willing to lend a helping hand.
His passion for the outdoors and exploring was limitless.
Beautiful memories of kayaking, tubing the rivers, hiking and camping (DL Bliss, Sam Taylor, Pt Reyes, Loon Lake & Auburn State Rec)
And to salting NY cheese pizza and his treetop cafe.
He will be missed, never forgotten.

My deepest condolences to the O'Reilly family. I can remember the day I walked into River City Bank, spoke a few words to Mike in my Long Island accent, and we became close friends for the next 35 years. Whether it was flying, golfing, skiing, ping pong or discussing historical events, he was anxious to go. I'm a better person because of Mike, I'll remember him often as he will be greatly missed.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was a very friendly neighbor and I always enjoyed talking with him when out in the neighborhood walking my dog. We will all miss his smiling face and welcoming greetings. Sending condolences to Mike's family and friends.
