I saw Doug at our last 60 breakfast. I've known him since grade school. I thought he might teach me how to play pickle ball. And now he is gone. Way to quick and too soon. Sorry I can't be at the service, I will be in Wisconsin. Thoughts and prayers with his family and friends.

I've known Doug since grade school and we graduated from FCHS together in 1960. I would occasionally run in to him and his bride fishing in the Long Draw area when I was the on the Roosevelt National Forest 1961 thru 1966. I transferred out of state after that, but would see him at H.S. reunions, the "Monday morning breakfasts" and always the same friendly guy. It was a joy to know. Rest in peace my friend.

We met Doug about 2 years ago playing Pickleball at the Senior Center in Fort Collins. Doug was a gentle yet competitive person....so considerate and kind to all his fellow players and especially to my husband and myself who were learning the skill of this fun and exciting game.
Doug, you will be missed by all who looked forward to you being there early every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with your wonderful smile and happy disposition. You helped to make our morning playing extra special.
We certainly will miss you!

Jim & I knew Doug from PB. Doug was normally one of the first to hit the courts and we joined him on many occasions.
He was an awesome, fun loving man and we, and our whole PB family, will miss him tremendously! He is no doubt up somewhere soliciting other angels to join him in a game of fun! He will stay in our hearts forever. Love that man!

I miss him. He was the kindest, friendliest guy Ive ever played with on the pickleball court. Whether he was my partner or on the other side of the net, we always had fun. Ill be out of town on the 2nd, but Ill be thinking of him.
