Jack Davis Obituary

Jack Herbert Davis, 93, former longtime resident of Fort Collins, passed away from Covid-19 complications on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Jack was born in 1927 in Detroit, MI. He served in World War II and later met the love of his life, Donna, while attending college. Jack and Donna were married in 1950 and started a family in Dallas, TX where they lived until moving to Fort Collins, CO in 1970. Jack worked in Real Estate and sales while in Fort Collins until his retirement in 1990. Jack and Donna shared in their love of collecting and regularly participated in Antique, Toy and Collectibles shows. He also loved airplanes and was a regular attendant at the Blue Angels Flight shows at the Loveland airport.

Jack and Donna eventually moved to Manhattan, KS in 2005 to be near one of their sons, and for a fresh change of scenery. They lived there until Donna's passing in 2017. Jack made the decision to do what he always wanted and moved to Palm Springs, CA, near his daughter Jan, to live out the remainder of his life.

Jack is survived by his four children, Jan Davis of Palm Springs, Bob Davis (and wife Sherry), Scott Davis (and wife Ronna), and Glen Davis, and two grandchildren, Kendra Davis and Mark Davis. A private family gathering and celebration of life will be forthcoming.
