Shannon Bryner Obituary
Shannon Kimberly Bryner, 44, of Fort Collins, passed away June 7, 2016. She was born January 30, 1972 in Colorado, the daughter of Ron and Judy Bryner.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Meryl and Pauleen Bryner and Jack and Clara Warner.
Shannon attended Bauder, Blevins, and Poudre High School in Fort Collins. She attended CU Boulder and graduated with a B.A. in Business from UNLV at Kearney, NE. More recently, her Master's Degree in Logistics from the University of Michigan.
Shannon spent thirteen years working at Scuba Schools International in Fort Collins, then transferred to Boca Raton, FL for one year with Head Sports. She remained in Florida for the next year with her daughter Kynslee. She was a member of the Fort Collins Jaycees for nine years. She served as an officer of the Board for many years, including Chapter President. She ran multiple community and leadership-based projects. She was awarded the U.S Jaycees National Write-Up Award for her writing. Shannon, a.k.a "Rock Star," loved the Denver Broncos and live music. She had a lively, vibrant, outgoing, and energetic spirit for life and loved helping those who she came into contact with. Shannon's most important accomplishment was being a mother to the love of her life, Kynslee. Kynslee possesses and will carry on Shannon's greatest personality traits.
She is survived by Chuck and Judy (mother) Matta; Ron (father) and Cindy Bryner; daughter, Kynslee Kalena Dorst (6); John Dorst (Kynslee's Father); brother, Brandon Bryner; step-sister, Bethany Matta; step-brother, John Matta; and step-sisters; Autumn Salcido, Karrie Hubbard, and Amber Harford.
The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, located at 1900 S. Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80526. Memorial contributions may be given to the Kynslee Dorst Benefit Fund, mailed in care of Home State Bank, P.O. Box 329, Loveland, CO, 80539, or any Home State Bank location across the U.S.

I will always think of Shannon at my wedding laying down on the altar , she was 3 years old.... time :( has slipped away. I hope she is with Grandma Warner, I know how much mom loved her. Kelli Jo

I'm so sorry to hear about Shannon's death. I grew up with Shannon and Brandon. She was the daughter of my first caretaker and I couldn't love the family more if it were my own. My love and prayers go out to Judy, Ronnie, Brandon and of course her beautiful daughter who will live on as a beautiful legacy to her mom. Thoughts and prayers to all the Bryners.Tara Poduska
