William G. "Bill" Seefeldt

1940 - 2022

William G. "Bill" Seefeldt was born in Bloomington, IL on July 28, 1940. He passed away at 81 years old at Mill Vista Lodge at the Wind Crest Senior Living Community in Highlands Ranch, CO. Bill worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company in Peoria, IL and in 1963 he married Janet R. Guard and soon after the couple had two children. In the fall of 1973, the family moved to Littleton, CO where Bill worked for a number of data systems companies including Martin Marietta, and J.D. Edwards. In his fifties, Bill became a Realtor, working for Moore & Company, Frontier Better Homes & Gardens, Keller Williams, and RE/MAX Classic until his retirement. Bill found joy in volunteer service positions in the Littleton community, including the Town Hall Arts Center, Littleton Business Association, Arapahoe Community College Foundation Board, Littleton City Council Business/Industry Affairs Committee, Littleton Clock Tower Restoration, and the Littleton Millennium Celebration. Bill also was Western Welcome Week Events Chair, Board President, and served as "Mr. Welcome Week" in 1986. He supported two generations of Arapahoe High School activities when his children participated in theater and his grandsons performed in the marching band. In his later years, Bill especially enjoyed the company of his fellow Littleton Squares. Bill is preceded in death by his father, Ferdinand W. "Slim" Seefeldt (1978), his mother, Geraldine A. "Gerry" Seefeldt (1988), his sister, Norma J. Seefeldt (2013), and his beloved wife Jan (2016). Bill is survived by his son, Doug Seefeldt, (Tara Wood Seefeldt) of Clemson, South Carolina, his daughter, Holly (Seefeldt) Walker (Kenneth Walker) of Littleton, Colorado, and his grandchildren, Andrew Walker, Brandon Walker, August Seefeldt, and Meg Seefeldt. A memorial service/celebration of life will be held at Olinger, Chapel Hill, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121, on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:00 am, followed by a reception at 11:00 am.
