JAMES “JIM” EDWARD MCCLELLAN
September 27, 1944 ˜ January 7, 2025
Local Corvette Repair Shop (“GM Toys”) Owner, Avid Animal Lover, Vietnam Veteran, Battle Ground HS Class of ’62 Graduate, Clark College Alum, Beaches PIR Summer Nights Cruise-In Annual Attendee/Co-Coordinator, Successful Salesman & 50+ years Proud Husband, James Edward McClellan, born on Sept. 27, 1944 in Portland, OR., at Hahnemann Hospital (Holladay Park) passed away, as he desired, in his home on Jan. 7, 2025, at 80 yrs old, in Amboy, WA.
He is survived by all his NW Corvette Association Friends, Dog (Buddy); three Cats; Daughter (Jackie Thomas); Brother (Roscoe “Rocky” Leonard McClellan); seven Nephews (Bill, Terry, Scott, Bryan, Michael, Austin & Jason); five Nieces (Julie, Christy, Tricia, Kat, & M’Linda); an array of Great Nieces & Nephews; & Baker/McClellan Relatives who remember him well.
A special thanks to all of his friends and family who have supported his adventures throughout the years.
He has noted himself as a Master Mechanic, Member of the NW Corvette Ass., Italian Racer, AutoCross “Racing” Coach, Rancher/Farmer, Artist, Sports Enthusiast & an Outgoing Outdoorsman who could rototill, loved to Party & enjoyed good food.
He was preceded in death by the best woman in the world his Wife, Ruth “Ruthie” McClellan (2016); Parents (Eileen Ardilla Baker (1984) & Bill O. McClellan (1988)); Brothers (Billy Russell, Terrance & Gerald); Sisters (Maureen & Reta); Nephews (Craig & Barry Baldwin), Grandparents (Ardilla (Tyree) & Roscoe Leonard Baker: Cynthia Jane Lillie (Luther) & John Morris McClellan); & Baker/McClellan Relatives.
Please join us in remembering this gentlemans artful smile and dry sarcasm on Feb. 22, 2025, from 12:30-4 p.m. with 1 p.m. Honor Guard Ceremony at the VFW, 400 N Andresen Rd, Vancouver, WA 98661, food will be provided. All are welcome.
