John "Jack" H. Nebelsick
April 4, 1924 - January 24, 2024
LINCOLN - John "Jack" H. Nebelsick, 99, of Lincoln passed away on January 24, 2024. Born April 4, 1924, in Lincoln, NE to Albert and Rhoda (Kilhefner) Nebelsick.
Jack served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He owned Acme Tree Service for 27 years and was a member of the Heartland Park Bible Church.
Family members include his wife, Bonnie; Jack's children, Thomas (Nadine) Nebelsick, Lincoln, Daniel Nebelsick, Jacksonville, OR, Susan Nebelsick-Badura (Brian) Jacksonville, OR, and Rebecca Nebelsick, Boise, ID; Bonnie's Children, Thomas (Ogie) Nelson, Lincoln and Rebecca (Nick) Whitney, Lincoln; and 14 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and first wife Ann.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 2, Heartland Bible Church, 2611 S. 56th St. Visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Roper and Sons South Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr.

Amazingly, I was just thinking about Jack and working for him at AMCE Tree Service in the early 70s. He was a kind fair man who I always respected.
