Richard Beller Obituary

OMAHA - Richard "Rick" James Beller, 46, of Omaha, died Saturday, May 1, 2004, in Omaha.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Omaha. Burial is at Resurrection Cemetery in Omaha. A wake service will be held 6 p.m. today at the church. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Holy Family Church in Lindsay.

Mr. Beller was born April 19, 1958, in Newman Grove, to James and Mary Catherine Beller. He graduated from Lindsay Holy Family High School. He received his associate degree in business from Kearney State College. He was the co-owner and operator of Beller Feedlot in Lindsay.

He married Sheila Ramsier April 24, 1982.

Survivors include his wife of Omaha; his parents of Greeley, Colo.; children, Sheena, Farrah, Raquel, Preston and Parker; three brothers, Terry (Karla) Beller of Lindsay, Marc (Bonnie) Beller of Columbus, and Mike (Julie) Beller of Greeley, Colo.; grandmother, Josephine Bothe of Columbus; and father and mother-in-law, Edgar and Elsa Gates.

He was a member of the church, the Knights of Columbus, served on the parish council and was a trustee at Lindsay Holy Family Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Elsie Beller, and Henry Bothe.

John A. Gentleman Mortuaries in Omaha is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to the Rick Beller Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Holy Family School in Lindsay. Donations are being collected by the Bank of Lindsay.
