Eddy Angus Obituary

Born to Earl Roy and Evelyn Marie (Henry) Angus on Valentines Day 1952, he was raised in Concord, and graduated from Clayton Valley High in 1970. In 1791, he joined the Army Reserves and served in the Army Corp of Engineers, honorably discharged in 1978. He worked as an auto painter all his life, and restoring old cars was his hobby after he retired. He loved going to car shows and seeing cars he had painted and talking to people. He met Patti in 1982 and they were together 43 years. He was the proud "Pa" of Rod and Clayton. He grew up hunting and fishing and passed a love of the outdoors on to his sons. He was predeceased by his parents and older brother. He is survived by wife Patti, sons Rod and Clayton, sisters Elaine (Barry) and Liz (Glen), niece Lindi (Joe), and great-niece Ashley (Doug) and great-nephew Jordan. A celebration of his life was held at McNary Moore Chapel, on Monday, August 25, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the wonderful people who helped us care for him: Princeton Fire Dept., PO Box 176, Princeton, CA 95970, or Butte Home Health & Hospice, 10 Constitution Drive, Chico, CA 95973.
