Lorraine Francis Dixon Sowell

Senatobia - LORRAINE FRANCIS DIXON SOWELL, 81, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2006 at her residence in Senatobia. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2006 at Senatobia Church of Christ, where she was a life long member, with burial to follow at Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Sowell leaves her husband, L.B. Sowell of Senatobia; daughters, Delores S. Green and Rhonda S. Still, both of Senatobia, and Mitzi S. Davis of Birmingham, AL; her son, Jimmy R. Sowell of Nesbit, MS; and her brother, Louis L. Dixon of Senatobia. She also leaves her grandchildren, Marnie G. Wilder, Marcus Green, Russell Sowell, Brad Sowell, Parker Still, Seth Still; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sowell also leaves a special niece, Cindy Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Marcus Dixon. Memorials may be sent to the Senatobia Church of Christ or the North MS Hospice of Oxford, 104 Shyline Dr. Oxford, MS 38665.
