Viewing, 11 a.m., Saturday, September 22 at New Era Baptist Church, 797 Laurel, Memphis, 38114. Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her son, Gerald J. Jones, Sr. She leaves daughter-in-law, Rubystin Jones; two brothers, Jimmie Payne, Jr. of Minnesota and Stanley Payne, Sr. of Memphis; grandchildren, Sherika Jones and Gerald J. Jones, Jr. of Memphis; special nieces, Yolonda Payne, Wendy Payne, Pia P. Shannon of Minnesota; and nephew, Stanley Payne, Jr. of Memphis, TN, a host of nieces, nephews and family members.
