Tommy L. Townsend, 64, of Bartlett, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Visitation will take place from 9:30-10:45 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11 a.m., both Saturday, August 12 at Wright's Chapel A.M.E. Church located at 4591 Brunswick Road, Arlington. Interment will be held in Griffin Cemetery located on Memphis-Arlington Road, Arlington. He is survived by his brother, William (Rat) Townsend, Jr. and sister, Mildred Brewer.

Mrs. Mildred I'm praying for your family, I too lost a brother and sister it's a difficult road without them in our life. I still miss my siblings and think of them often. Remember Tommy's at peace now and will forever be by your side. I've only known you for a short time, but God brought us together for a reason, lean on me anytime my new friend. The last time I saw you was when you riding your bike out by Wolfchaise Mall. Always in my heart cousin and tell Aunt Liilie,cousin Earthy Bell,your Mom & Dad hello and we will keep praying to see you All again in the Kingdom.
