Alan Parker Obituary
Concord, NH - Alan Parker, a lifelong resident of Concord, passed away at his home on June 1, 2023.
Born August 9, 1949 to the late Richard and Eileen (Kavanagh) Parker, Alan received his education in Concord at St. John's School and Bishop Brady High School, graduating in 1967.
In 1990, after working several years in the construction field, he started Parker Blake & Cole general contracting company. For the next 30 years until his retirement in 2020 he built countless quality homes throughout NH, earning the reputation of an excellent builder. He took great pride in his work.
Alan had a generous heart and was always willing to help someone who needed it whether it was raising money to send a little girl and her parents to Disney World, replacing a broken motorized scooter for someone he saw on his way to work every day or paying for someone's groceries that he thought might need help.
In addition to his generosity Alan had a great laugh and a dry sense of humor that could make people laugh. We will miss that very special quality.
Alan is survived by his wife Susan (Evans) and two children Mel and Cole all of Concord. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, his Aunt Nancy and Esther and many cousins and friends. A special thank you to cousin Maureen who was such a help and comfort to him.
In addition to his parents Alan was predeceased by his brother Wayne in 1985.
A graveside service for Alan will be held at the Blossom Hill Cemetery on June 23 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics New Hampshire, Concord Golden Eagles, PO Box 3598, concord NH 03302

I remember your dad and your husband as a caring, wonderful man who taught me a lot of stuff with my father when I was young. I remember going to his dad's house and playing with the Airedales and all that fun stuff. But Alan was a wonderful man and yeah I learned a lot from him so thank you!

I was so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. I knew Alan through my sister and brother in law, Gus Labrie. We had many good times together. I have very fond memories of Alan and a beautiful photograph that he took years ago. I think of him each time I look at it. May his memory be eternal.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Alan on several homes. Many great memories! He was a good brother in law as well. I miss his humor already!! RIP Big Al.

Sorry for your loss Susan, Mel, and Cole. Alan and I went to school together.
Played sports together and went through the years of adolescence together.
Some of the most memorable times during those years were spent with Alan.
He always brought joy to me. I will never forget Alan.

My sincere condolences to Alan´s family. I grew up with Alan , one street over. We played Little League together, and countless games of wiffleball. He will be missed by many. RIP Alan!
