Aubrey Harold Martin

Penacook, NH - Harold Martin of Penacook, N.H. passed away on January 3, 2024 at Concord Hospital from respiratory failure and complications from Covid-19 at the age of 87. Harold was born on February 12, 1936 in Hunter River, P.E.I., Canada, to the late Peter J. and Lula May (MacDougall) Martin. Harold moved from P.E.I. to Boscawen, N.H.with his family in 1947 when his father purchased the Braley farm in Boscawen, later to be known as Martin's farm. He attended Penacook High School in the 1950's. He worked many years for Sears and Roebuck when Sears was located on South Main St. In Concord. Harold was also self-employed, having his own milk delivery route during the early 1970's serving customers throughout the Concord area. After his milk delivery route ended, he went to work for the State of N.H. Harold enjoyed water skiing, snow skiing, and bowling in his youth. In addition to his parents, Harold is predeceased by his three Brother's: Arnold, Lloyd and Louis. Six sister's: Velma, Jean, Marie, Helen, Verna and Phyllis. Harold is survived by his three children: David of Texas, Tish and Norman of California, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his youngest sister; Shirley (Martin) Lindstrom of Melbourne Beach, Florida. Services will be held later this year.
