Barbara Colby Obituary
Boscawen, NH — A kind and loving soul was set free on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022. Barbara Vervalen Colby, born November 25, 1953 in Suffern, N.Y., died at Concord Hospital in her husband's arms.
No one had a more positive outlook towards life than her, even though her physical challenges were many.
She leaves behind her husband Joe of 48 years, her son Joe, and many, many family members and friends; all who were cherished.
Auntie Barb was the core of the family, hosting Thanksgiving at "The Farm" for 46 years. She also kept Colby Lumber Company running smoothly, even though she had to deal with Jim and Joe daily. At her request, private services will be held at a later date.
