Oh my dear...how I loved Bernie...I worked with him at NHTI for nearly 18 years as a secretary for several departments. I have often wondered about him, and every once in a while I would get some info on him second or third-hand. We had so, so many good times together. He loved to chat with me, and always with a smile and twinkle in his eye. He had a very quick temper (although never directed at me), but would calm down as quickly as he grew angry. I loved him, I really did. I attended his retirement party, and that was the last time I saw him. God Bless him and love to his accomplished and wonderful children and extended family.

Uncle Bernie/Aunt Anne :....thank you for your efforts in making sure the Peacock cousins played with each other. I recall Aunt Anne's "out loud " laughter and Bernie's Oreos and milk at my folks house. Much more, but for now....I send you peace in your hearts , as I know your are hurting .
