Clarence Levesque Obituary

Clarence N. Levesque, 73, died May 10, 2013. He was born Feb. 9, 1940, in Baker Lake, New Brunswick, Canada, to Albenie and Irma (Tardif) Levesque.

Clarence died at home at his beloved Newfound Lake with his loving family and friends at his side. Clarence came to the United States at the age of 16 and proceeded to build a life and legacy to be admired. He began as a dishwasher and a few years later started working as a sheet rocker. At the age of 22, he started his own contracting company. For 50 years he ran his own business, C. Levesque Co., and later Walls Unlimited Inc. He was a determined and hardworking man. He always had a twinkle in his eye, a firm handshake and he loved to laugh. He enjoyed his winters in St. Thomas, his summers gardening and motorcycling around Newfound Lake, but most of all, he loved his family and his work. He was a kind, genuine man, who was loved and adored by everyone who knew him.

Clarence aimait la vie et il avait la joie de vivre!

Family includes his wife, Joanne (Murphy-Miller) Levesque; his children: Joel Levesque of NashuA, Kenneth Leveque of Townsend, Mass., Debra (Richard) Dellacanonica of Pepperell, Mass., Susan Soares of Pepperell, Mass., and Amy Lauren Miller of Salem, Mass.; grandchildren: Holly, Marc, Justin, Al, Sophia, Emma, Lily and Matthew, as well as four brothers and one sister: Gerard (Sue) Levesque, Robert Levesque, Lucille (Elie) Caron, Claude (Clara) Levesque, Gaston Pit (Lucienne) Levesque.

Calling hours to be held Wednesday, May 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. at Emmons Funeral Home, 115 South Main St., Bristol. Services will be held Thursday, May 16, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace at Holy Trinity Parish, 2 West Shore Road, Bristol. Burial at Homeland Cemetery following services.

Donations can be sent to TTCC N. Main St., Bristol, NH 03222 and NANA Hospice program 214 Lake St., Bristol, NH 03222.

I didn't know Clarence that long, but he was a very dear person in my life, I will miss his smile and his laughter, and most of all when he would drive his truck into and out of his garage, a very small space in which he always succeeded in getting it in and out without hitting anything, I will miss him so very much, I was lucky to had known him, love you Clarence

Bob, Christian and I remain in anguished shock, and so wish we could be there to offer our love and support. Christian quietly gave thanks that he saw Clarence one more time last summer (2012). I remember wonderful times over all the years, as the marriage of Deb and RHD in 1988 brought two families together. I know now that Clarence is in a better place, free of illness and pain, and he will be waiting as time moves on, and each joins him in that journey Home to Him. To all who so loved him, his wife, children, grandchildren and move, we mourn your loss, and send as much love as can be imagined. In Christ,

Ray Cannon
