Dana Thornton Obituary
A lifelong resident of Concord, Dana graduated from Penacook High School. Dana joined the United States Air Force in 1965 and proudly served his country. He later married his loving wife, Cynthia (Davis) Thornton. Dana worked for many years at the Federal Building in Concord, NH as a Federal Protective Officer. In his retirement, Dana enjoyed reading, hunting, and fly fishing, and spending time with family.
Dana is survived by his daughter, Kelli (Thornton) Barrett and husband Brandon Barrett and granddaughter Maci; mother in-law Joan Davis; brother Richard Thornton and wife Yvonne; brother in-law Mark Davis; nieces Katherine Maglia, Maureen Sinkiewize-Slate, Marsha Presmyk, Deborah Kelley, and Pamela Thornton; nephews Gregory Davis and Michael Thornton. He is predeceased by his wife, Cynthia Thornton; Brother Randall "Bud" Thornton; and father in-law Allan Davis.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 3pm at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.
The Bennett Funeral Home 209 North Main St. Concord, NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
