1984 - 2014

SALISBURY – Daniel Adam Nickerson, 29, of Salisbury passed away at home unexpectedly Sunday, September 14, 2014.

A lifelong resident of Salisbury, Dan was born in the West Salisbury home of Dave and Joy Chamberlain on September 20, 1984, to Robert and Donna (Morse) Nickerson. He attended Merrimack Valley High School and began working as a Stone Mason at the age of 15. He worked in construction for many years, most recently for Pelcon General Contractors in Bow.

Dan possessed a wonderful charisma and the ability to light up a room. He enjoyed skateboarding and had a deep appreciation for music and movies, an appreciation that expanded beyond just the songs or films and into the stories, histories and trivia behind them.

Dan is survived by his mother, Donna (Morse) Nickerson of Salisbury; his brother, Jonathan Nickerson of Salisbury; grandfather, Arthur Morse of Penacook; uncle, Jeff Morse and aunt, Christine of Penacook; uncle Dana Morse of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; uncle, Don Braley and aunt, Estelle of Concord; aunt, Barbara Matulaitis of Manchester, Conn.; uncle, Gary Chaffee and aunt, Mary of Danbury; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Bobby Nickerson in 2011.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 20, at 1 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery on Route 4 in Salisbury.

The family would like to give special thanks to Troop D of the NH State Troopers and the Salisbury Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department for being there both professionally and personally during their time of need.
