Concord, NH — Dorothea E. (Urlwin) Parker passed away at home, on April 29, 2021 after a period of declining health. Dot is survived by her children Nancy Jackson, Thomas (Moe) Parker, Anne Bogart, James (Kathy) Parker, and Maureen Herrick. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Timothy (Nicole) Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Heidi (Silas) Miller, Melissa (Patrick) Allen, Allison (Thomas) Brown, Daniel Herrick, Beck (Ron) Bryson, and Sara Stankatis. Dot adored her great grands Juliet Jackson, Felix and Freya Miller, Gigi and Emme Allen, Parker Bryson, and Kaylin Stankatis. Dot was predeceased by both her parents, her brothers William, Robert and George Urlwin, as well as her granddaughter Hannah Jackson and great granddaughter Jolene Jackson. Dot worked for Camps Bernadette and Fatima for over 20 years. She was proud to be instrumental in the creation of Special Needs Week. She also worked for the State of NH and the NH Hospital Association. Dot retired and moved to Florida where she spent 25 wonderful years. Dot easily made friends everywhere she went. She cherished and maintained her friendships from far and wide, from grade school through life, right up until she passed. Dot's family is grateful for her friends at Ridgewood Mobile Home Park, as well as the many NH folks who wintered in the Venice, FL area. Friends at Ridgewood could not believe how many visitors she welcomed into her home year after year. Many times, when one guest would leave in the morning, another would arrive in the afternoon looking forward to their week with Dottie. She will be greatly missed by her many adoring fans. A Christian Mass will be held at the Christ the King Parish, South Main Street in Concord, Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Internment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in East Concord. Dot was the glue that kept the Fatima Business Office together for many years. She always had a smile and good word for everybody. She was always there to deal with campers, staff, parents and anyone who walked through the door. As a young Waterfront Director, Dot made me feel welcomed at Fatima, kept me out of trouble in the Business Office, and always made me feel as though I had a home. A gracious and caring person whose contributions to the Camps cannot be measured. Rest in Peace!
