Very sorry to hear of Dot's passing. She was one of a kind and I always enjoyed talking with her and letting her know when the new postage stamps came in. She will be missed. All our sympathy and prayers to you from me and my wife.

Our condolences go out to Kathy and Wendy. Sorry to hear of your moms passing. She was such a huge mainstay of this town for decades. I remember her mostly in her back room post office of Crossroads Store, as Post Master for 23 years. She always had a tootsie roll for any child that stopped at her window. My kids always looked for that! So sad to think of all the many old characters we've lost in Town. As someone that was born and raised here, they were always a constant. And it's a big loss.

Kathy and Wendy-so sorry to hear of your mom´s passing. She was a wonderful lady who always had a huge heart. Her years at the post office helped me immensely when I was editor of our state music journal-she gladly received the bulk mailing and sent it out! Hugs to you!
