Fenelon J. Perkins
Loudon, NH - Fenelon J. Perkins Loudon, NH passed away at home with his loving wife, Marge, and family by his side on November 15, 2025. He was 94.
Born in Lewiston, Maine on June 22,1931, he was the son of Herman and Blanche Perkins. He was raised in Rochester, NH, graduating from Spaulding High School in 1949. As a young man, he joined the Air National Guard and was activated during the Korean conflict. While still in the guard, he married his first wife, Hazel, and they were blessed with four boys, Randy, Jeff, Alan, and Todd. He worked several jobs and then went on to the trade of carpentry, building several businesses and homes including his own home in Barrington and Loudon, NH. He pursued that career for over 50 years. During that time, he married his second wife, Linda, and they were blessed with a daughter, Rebekah.
Fen loved to read and also travel. As a young family, they would travel across country, Alaska, California and other parts of the United States. After retirement, he enjoyed reading books on his kindle, tending to his greenhouse, taking short day trips, doing projects around the house, building wooden toys, and attending Bible Study and other activities at church.
Fen was a gentle man, with a tender heart. His faith in Jesus Christ gave him the peace, strength, and comfort that he needed in everyday life. His wish was to have those with whom he shared his faith come to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Concord and served as usher and Sunday school teacher for many years.
Fen is survived by his loving family, including his present wife, Marge, married for 12 years, sons Randy (Mary), Jeff (Rosie), and Todd, his daughter Rebekah (Shawn) Bogert, step son Joseph Colgate (Michelle), step daughter, Debbie Colgate, Granddaughters, Sarah (Andy) Crews, Amy Carter, Taylor (Ethan) Hardin, Skylar (West) Hilyer, Kylie (Jamee) Simon, grandsons, Alex (Erin) Perkins, Zachary Mogee, and Jarrett Mogee, step grandsons and granddaughters, Joshua, Willie, Natasha, Emily and Olivia, and 11 great grandchildren.
