Gary Audet Obituary
He was born in Concord, son of the late Robert Audet and Marion (Hebert) Audet of Concord. He was a graduate of Concord High School and received his associate degree while serving in the U.S. Army.
He worked for many years for Capital Distributers and Universal Packaging. He was a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club and had a true passion for classic cars. He could smash a baseball back in the day and enjoyed watching the Red Sox win or lose.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Corey Audet of Henniker, Shane Audet of Manchester, and Cameron Audet of Bow; a grandson, Avery Audet; a brother, Jim Audet and his wife, Sandi, of Bow, and two nieces, Krista Glynn and Courtney Audet, and grandnieces and grandnephews Patrick Glynn, and David and Ziola Audet; his former wife, Roberta Audet, of Bow; and many friends.
Visiting hours will not be held.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 2, at 1:30 p.m. at the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Military honors will be provided.
Waters Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Saddened to hear of Gary's passing. I loved to listen to him speak, such an intelligent man with so much talent. He taught me so much about cars, and the world, in the few years I knew him. I've never seen anyone else care so much about keeping their tires so shiny & clean! :o) He loved his family. Sending all of my love to his family and friends. RIP

I'm very sorry for your loss. Back in the day when Gary was smashing baseballs, I was playing with him. He smashed them on the Rumford School playground, and he smashed them in little league playing for the yankees. I just pulled a 1961 Concord Monitor clipping where it stated "Gary Audet provided all the hitting needed" in a win over the Boys Cub. He was in my opinion, the most feared hitter in little league . Marion you were right, Odie could really smash it! Again, I'm very sorry.
