Janice Raylene Bonenfant

Strafford, NH - Janice R Bonenfant (September 29, 1969 – October 24, 2022) Janice R. Bonenfant was a beloved sister, aunt, friend, and dog mom. Although she never had children of her own, she loved her fur babies as if they were her children.

Janice was born September 29, 1969, to a large loving family who lived on Church Street in Epping NH. Janice was the baby of her family and has 6 brothers and sisters who love her dearly.

Janice was a fierce protector and caregiver to all animals, but dogs always held a special place in her heart. She lived with her sister Michele for the last 20 years in Strafford NH and would often sneak dogs of all kinds into their home because they were abandoned, and she believed they deserved to be cared for and loved, for as long as they lived.

She opened her own doggy day care called "Auntys Place" which she ran for a few years in Loudon NH before moving the day care to Strafford NH. Through her obvious love for the four-legged friends, she maintained some wonderful friendships with many of her customers, which she continued while she ran Auntys' Place in the comfort of her own home. It was easy to become friends with Janice because she loved getting to know people and always made everyone she met feel important and loved.

Over the years she devoted her weekends to LAVES, a veterinary clinic in Littleton, NH, where she quickly became an "Aunty" to all the staff. She had a great strength and a special way of comforting clients who were faced with difficult decisions when it came to their animals.

When Janice was not devoting her time to the animals she enjoyed spending time with her family, attending concerts or live music with her friends, spoiling her many nieces and nephew's and the sweet taste of peanut butter cupcakes. Janice was a person who lived her life with so much love and laughter and if she loved you, you knew it and she never let you forget how loved you were.

Janice is predeceased by her Father Norman E. Bonenfant, Mother Alice "Kealoha" Bonenfant brother Daniel Bonenfant and sister-in-law Diane Bonenfant. She is survived by her brother Norman J. Bonenfant and his fiancé Kay Christel, her sister Theresa Bickford and her husband Walter Bickford, her sister Debra Day and her husband Gerald Day, her brother Wayne Bonenfant and his partner Jennifer Mcglone her sister Michele Geoffrion and her husband Gary Geoffrion, her sister-in-law Carol Bonenfant, her fur babies Sophia, Morgan and Chase and her "adoptive" fur babies Morial and Jonesy, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, her best friend Kristen Warren and so many more.

Visiting hours for Janice will be held from 5pm-8pm on Saturday October 29, 2022 at Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping NH. Prayers will be shared by Father Agapit Jean starting at 8 PM at the funeral home.
