Joseph Alban "Joe" Richard

1954 - 2018

Joseph Alban Richard, age 63, born Sept. 12 in Lynn, Mass., passed away July 28, 2018.

Whether you knew him as Joe, Jozer, Jose, Suicide Joe or Jo Jo Dancer, all that matters is you knew him. Motivated by music and motorcycles, he lived his life one day at a time and exactly how he wanted to. An original member of SPS Horror Merchants MC Life Member HMFFHM President of N.H. Nomads. He was a proud biker and Marine through and through. Honorably discharged from the Marines in 1980. Named a Lance Corporal and received a rifle sharpshooter badge. He did love his guns and was a 2A supporter. He was a steel fabricator by trade who really loved his work.

Joe was a great storyteller, if you were lucky enough to join him at the picnic table and hear a few I'm sure you haven't forgotten them. Most of them were true accounts of his wild youth, some stuff you swore could have only been done in the movies if he didn't have someone to back them up, which he always did. I'm sure everyone who has met him has their own Joe story. He was a caring father, loving husband and life partner. A son, brother and uncle who always had something to teach people. He passed peacefully after a yearlong battle of cancer with the Wizard [SPS HMMC] and his longtime girlfriend Bonnie by his side. He is survived by many family and friends who became family.
