Karen Tobin Obituary
She was born October 8, 1946 in Taunton, Mass. She attended Chichester Central, grades 1 through 8, then Bishop Brady High School graduating in 1965. She graduated from the NH State Hospital School of Nursing, with an RN degree and then attended the University of Massachusetts in North Hampton, Mass., graduating magna cum laude with a BS in Nursing in February 1976. She joined the air force as a second lieutentant in June of the same year and retired as a Captain of(nurses corps)on medical disability in 1979.
She married on July 4, 2000, traveling and sharing a loving relationship with her husband, Lewis Hulse until he passed in June 2005.
She leaves behind 10 siblings, the first born, Elinor Stanton of Marco Island, Fla., Kevin Tobin of Rochester, Julie Carroll of Bow, Emily Westfield of Naples, Fla., Vesta(Honey) Tobin of Truth or Consequences, N.M., Willis Tobin of Crestview, Fla., Alice Tobin of Concord, Margie Dumas of Quincy, Mass., Peter Tobin and Tim Tobin of Charlestown; 20 nieces and nephews; and 31 grandnieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at The Waters funeral home, 50 South Main St. Concord.
Interment will follow at the Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.

Very sad news...I have the fondest memories of Karen and Honey from so long ago...such fun and mischief all through the 60s! High school and college days seem to be defining moments for us all, and the Tobins certainly are a huge part of mine. Blessings to you all.

Dear Elinor & Family..So sorry to hear of Karen's passing..she certainly had a terrific life of dedication to our nursing professsion..I'm sure she will be greatly missed by all... Karen was always one of my favorite people. I loved how she always made me laugh and she would laugh with me. She is with Louie now and she must really be smiling. My thoughts and prayers go to her and her family.
