Katharine Caron Obituary

Katharine "Kathy" Caron

Concord, NH — Katharine "Kathy" S. Caron, age 83, of Concord, NH, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 10th surrounded by loved ones.

Kathy was born in Peterborough, NH on April 28th, 1938, the daughter of the late George and Meta (Goodwin) Shea.

Kathy was a graduate of Peterborough High School and attended the University of New Hampshire before dedicating her time to working in administration at various New Hampshire businesses. In her most recent years, she worked in emergency housing at the Friends Program.

Kathy will be remembered for a multitude of reasons, but most notably how deeply she cherished the moments spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. She prided herself on the accomplishments of her family members and was eager to share those milestones with whomever she interacted with.

She was selfless in nature, always putting others before herself. She had a nurturing soul and welcomed all into her home. Kathy enjoyed cooking for others and making sweet treats.

She was a woman of hidden talents and mastered many skills. She was naturally patient which made her a great teacher for the younger generations.

Kathy enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles, watching the NBA, spoiling her and her family's many cats, and talking on the phone with friends and family for hours on end.

She always looked forward to warm weather and the blossoms of the season. She was an easy woman to please as a good steak from the Longhorn could have her talking for weeks.

Kathy came with a sharp wit that could brighten any room with smiles and laughter. Accompanied by her wit was great strength and determination that remained until the end.

She is survived by her children Russell Langille and his wife Jackie of Allenstown, NH, Patrick Caron and his wife Justine of Newton, NH, and Michelle Neville of Concord, NH; her grandchildren Alexandra Caron of Concord, NH, Brittani Langille of Middleboro, MA, Isabella Neville of Concord, NH, and Sofie Caron of Newton, NH; her great granddaughter Harper Deane of Middleboro, MA; her brother George F. Shea Jr. of Seabrook, TX; her sisters Susan Mitchell and Mary MacIver of Concord, NH; her sister-in-law Nell Shea of Nashua, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Paul R. Caron; her sister, Patricia Myhaver; brother, James Shea; and granddaughter, Chloe Caron.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 15 from 4 to 6 PM at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord, NH

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 16th at 1 PM at the Greennvale Cemetery in Greenfield, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pope Memorial SPCA, 94 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH 03301.
