Concord, NH - LOUISE MARIE (JOHNSON) BARKER, 90, passed away peacefully on

January 13, 2023.

Louise was born in Gloucester, MA on December 21, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Gustave A. Johnson and Louise (Wass) Johnson of Rockport, MA.

Louise was the loving wife of the late Ralph Edgar Barker, son of the late Rev. Ralph M. Barker, "The Old Salt" and Ruth O. (Stavely) Barker of Rockport, MA. She is predeceased by four siblings, brothers Herbert Johnson, Robert Johnson, sister Mildred Parsons all from Rockport, MA, sister Margaret Spinny of Ellsworth, ME and her son, Dana N. Barker of Bow, NH.

Louise is leaving behind her family that will miss her and whom loved her dearly including: Her son's, David W. Barker and wife Lisa of NC., Steven R. Barker and wife April of NH, Lee W. Barker of NH and daughter, Brenda L. Martel of MA., 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

As a young girl, Louise enjoyed when her brother Robert "Bobby" gave her rides on his bike for ice cream treats in Gloucester and tending to his chickens. After a year of being incubated for having Tuberculosis, she graduated from Rockport High School in 1951. She worked part time as a waitress on Bearskin Neck and this is where she met Edgar.

Her lifelong best friend, Shirley, always had a special place in her heart.

Louise then worked at the Rockport National Bank.

After marrying Edgar in 1954 and starting their family, she worked along side him as

office mgr in their companies, Custom Magnetics and Tran/Scan Ind. Corp.

In 1977 they moved their family and business to NH where she enjoyed their lake house and relaxing. Louise

was an avid walker and enjoyed hiking, camping, traveling and most of all, being with her family.
