Laconia , NH — It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret "Peg" O'Connor Karakla, who died on Thursday, August 4th, 2022 surrounded by her adoring family at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH. Peg was born on February 6, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY, the fifth child of Michael and Beatrice O'Connor.
In August of 1985, Peg welcomed her greatest love, her daughter, Lindsey Colleen.
Peg was extremely hard working; Peg settled into her 30 year career at The Granite Group, formerly Goulet Supply Company. She made many connections with the people she worked with and gained important, lifelong friends as a result. Family and friends were everything to Peg, and all who were blessed to be in her circle share that deep love for her.
Peg was predeceased by her grandparents, infant sister Mary O'Connor, brother Danny O'Connor, father Michael O'Connor, brother Mickey O'Connor, mother Beatrice O'Connor, stepdaughter Nicole Karakla, niece Jessica LaBonte, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
She leaves behind her daughter, Lindsey Ward and fiancee, Jason Bohm; sister Kathy Randazzo and husband Joe; sister Tricia LaBonte and husband Jimi; brother John O'Connor and wife Chrissy; sister Susan Bourgeois and husband Dan; nieces and nephews Josh Feinberg, Carli O'Connor, Joe Randazzo, Nico Randazzo, Matt Randazzo, Lauren O'Connor, Allison O'Connor, Meghan Tewksbury, Jenn Thompson and Maisy Bourgeois.

I knew Peg for almost my entire life. She was a wonderful person and one of my dads greatest friends, she was family. I am so saddened at her passing but I know my dad, Steve Twombly, was there to meet her with an ice cold beer!! Peg you will be missed and thank you for all the happy memories

My thoughts and prayers to Peg's family, I have great memories going back to the Goulet Supply days on commercial street in Concord where I had the opportunity to work with Peg for a short but memorable time, Peg will be missed by so many of us. God Bless!

My deepest sympathy goes out to Peg's family. Peg was a one of a kind, loving, sarcastic, funny, happy-go-lucky woman. I SO enjoyed laughing and joking with her on our breaks over the years at Granite Group. She will be missed so much by all of us.

My sympathy goes out to Lindsey and Peg's family. I met Peg from working with her at the Granite Group. I worked with her for 26 years. She was a great co-worker and we had many laughs and I have great memories of her that I will always remember.
