Dear Mickey,
I remember our phonecalls - you had a lovely voice and spirit - and am so sad we never got the chance to meet in person. I am forever greatful, that you brought the Mongan Method to Germany. I offer my condolences to your family and close friends and know, that ever tear that is cried is nothing but love for you. You will live on in all our work and as long as you are remembered by all of us. I am so glad to hear you died peacefully at home, it is a good place for both, the beginning and the end. Peace and calm and love. Mura

Mickey, I will never forget our first phone call and being so surprised at our similaritiesfrom growing up in NH and graduating Plymouth State University, we seemed destined to work together. My best memories were when we would share life experiences. You provided me with so much wisdom. I became an advocate for HypnoBirthing early on and will one day go through the program with my daughter. I cared for you immensely and always tried to make sure your best interests came before any decisions. I hope someday you will come to me through our mutual friend. I pray that you look down on HB going forward and will be proud of how the baton was passed. HypnoBirthing will always be your baby. God bless you and may you Rest In Peace. Youll always be in my thoughts when my gardenia bush is in full bloom.

Mickey, such an incredible visionary, so talented and such a thoughtful teacher. I had the pleasure of learning from Mickey again and again, both as teacher and writer. She always astounded me with her ability to be so precise with words and message. I know we all strive to represent her messages of connecting to instinct, gentle joyful birthing, and celebration of birth as she expected. She set a precedent at the highest level. Her ideas deserve to be shared with mothers and fathers everywhere. Thank you Maura and family for sharing her with us. Warm regards and condolences to the whole family. I'm sure Mickey will Rest in Peace as she taught all of us to do.

Dear Marie, my first experience with HypnoBirthing was a conclave in Arizona 15 years ago. I originally was thinking to do the certification to deepen my understanding in birth. As it turns out, I was so inspired by you and the collective wisdom that long weekend, that I came home passionate to teach. I hadn't envisioned myself as a teacher, until then. I continue to be in gratitude for how beautifully you, your book, and all engaged in this path, spread the wisdom of the magnificent nature of birth! I'm so thankful I got to have several b-back classes with you, to personally experience your passion, wit and charm. My heart and world are fuller for what you helped bring to my life. Thank you. Sending love, peace and grace.

This woman touch my life & the life of my family in so many ways over so many years. The things she taught me are beyond measure & they not just about birthing but about how to run a business, how important family is, loving others, how to strengthen relationships with my children & my spouse, & how to be a hard worker. I will never forget the time spent with her, working side by side in the office discussing birthing stories & writing & proofing the 4th Edition of the HypnoBirthing Book. I will never forget the many lunch dates, going for pedicures before heading to the Conclave in VA, & working in her yard & planting flowers. She attending my wedding & the wedding reception of several of my children, my son's Eagle Scout Ceremony, Christmas Programs & many other events of my family. Her love & dedication to the birthing world changed my view & direction on my dream career. I feel blessed to have worked with her for so many years & I am blessed to have been trained by the founder of the HypnoBirthing World! The world is a better place because of Mickey. Rest in Peace Mickey!

Marie started me on my HypnoBirthing journey 8 years ago when I was preparing for the birth of my eldest son, and a friend loaned me her book. After such an amazing birth with him, I went on to train to teach with The HypnoBirthing Institute shortly afterwards and have helped many couples have positive calm birth experiences since. Marie's work has changed the lives of so many people across the world (I'm in the UK), and given the next generation the best start possible. Rest peacefully xx

I am saddened to hear of Mickey's passing. Because of her work I birthed two sons peacefully. My husband uttered that I was his hero both times. Because of her, I found a strength and power inside of myself that I didn't know I had. Because of her I became a Certified Hypnotherapist and have been able to help others. She has left an indelible mark on so many people and positively effected generations of human beings. Thank you Mickey for all you have done to make the world a gentler place. Peace and light to the family. Thank you for sharing your mom and grandmother with the rest of us.
