Nancy Maker Obituary

ALLENSTOWN - Mrs. Nancy M. (LeClair) Maker, 71, died Saturday, December 3, 2011, at her home on Hamel Avenue.

Nancy was born in Concord October 12, 1940, the daughter of William and Mary (Fredyma) LeClair. She was a lifelong resident of the Pembroke-Allenstown area and a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Maker had been employed by New Hampshire Technical Institute in the business office. She enjoyed spending her free time reading, doing crossword puzzles, and cooking.

Nancy was the widow of Robert Maker, who died last year in May and to whom she had been married 23 years. She is survived by four children, David Girard and Dan Girard, both of Epsom, Karen Johnson of New Boston, and Michelle Boisvert of Concord; nine grandchildren; a brother, Edgar LeClair of Hobe Sound, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.

Nancy was predeceased by a brother, Paul.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 10, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown, followed by burial in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy's family. I have great childhood memories of being at their home and their boat in Maine. She will be missed by many.
