Franklin, NH - Franklin…Paul Arthur Sirard, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024, surrounded by his family after a brief period of declining health.
Born in Franklin, NH on April 26, 1934, the son of Melina (LaPlante) Tefft and Julius Sirard of Franklin. He worked at many places including Cormier Hosiery Mill, Hebert Foundry, Swenson Granite, and Arwood Corporation. Following retirement, he went back to work at Lowes.
Arthur enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, horseshoes, and golf of which he was a longtime member of Den Brae Golf Course.
You could always find Arthur doing work around his house, stacking wood, cutting grass, in his pool, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Arthur will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. He was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, as he left an incredible mark on every single life that he touched. He will be greatly missed.
He was married to his wife Nancy (Pelletier) Sirard for 61 years. Family members include children: Kelly Weaver, Randy Sirard, Donna Duquette, Tammy Sirard, Ann Durocher, and Paul Sirard, 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Arthur was predeceased by his grandson, Tyler Sirard on October 27th, 2007.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

I would like to offer my condolences to all of Arthur`s family. I have wonderful childhood memories from the age of eight years old and on spending summers with Kelly, Arthur would always take us to the lake, a pool or camping, letting us jump off of his shoulders into the water over and over. What a great time we had,he will surely be missed.
