Paula was one of the bright lights at Shelburne Bay! Whether a gracious cup of tea in her apartment or a friendly wave when passing in the hallway, her gentle presence, twinkling eyes and warm greetings will be missed.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I know Paula and your Dad spent many hours of fun with my parents Clark and Lucy Hartford. Lucy is 98 and still resides at Whittaker Place, and enjoys the activities they offer. Paula was a delightful friend to Lucy.

I will always remember Paula with the ever present sparkle of mirth in her eyes. She never forgot how to have fun and it was an honor and great joy to me to have helped her host her last parties. Despite the physical limitations that plagued her final years, she greeted each day with joy. I have such fond memories of Paula watching the "diamonds" dance on the lake and the happiness with which she accepted even the simplest wild flower. Over the last two years she and I shared several presentations of the "Met Live" and enjoyed the opera together. I'll treasure those hours with her for always, and I will miss my very good friend. She was a great gal!
