Pauline Purington-Bond Obituary
Weare, NH - Pauline Purington-Bond of Thorndike Road in Weare, died Wednesday, December 10th from a brief illness. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she is survived by her husband of 7 years, Bernard Bond; brother, Eugene Desjardins Jr.; daughters Cynthia Griswold; Denise Purington; Patricia Beaudoin; stepchildren Dan Purington; Cliff Purington; Robin Asselin; Lorna Clancy; David Viens; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Born in Concord, NH, in 1933, oldest daughter of Eugene and Bertha (Audet) Desjardins. She graduated from Presentation of Mary Academy Hudson, NH in 1951.
She is predeceased by Bernard Maillette, husband and father of her 3 daughters, and Donald Purington, husband and father of her 3 stepchildren. She lived in Weare for 54 years and attended St. Theresa's Church in Henniker for almost 70 years where she served as Eucharistic minister and Sunday school assistant.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 15th at French and Rising Funeral Home in Goffstown NH 17 South Mast Street from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral service will be Tuesday December 16th at St. Theresa's church in Henniker at 11 am. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to White Birch Center for Active Living in Henniker or to the Weare Public Library.
