Priscilla Ann Davidson

Priscilla Ann Davidson passed away on Sept. 28, 2018, at 84 years old at Hyder Hospice House in Dover. She was born in Taunton, Mass., and was married to her high school sweetheart, Alan W. Davidson, for almost 65 years.

In addition to raising four children, Priscilla was a talented artist and calligraphist. She operated a downtown Concord shop for many years. She and Alan designed and built their dream passive-solar house in Loudon. The house, with a magnificent sunset view surrounded by fruit trees and berry bushes, was their home and great source of happiness for 38 years.

Priscilla enjoyed the most challenging jigsaw puzzles, crafting crosswords in pen, and was nearly unbeatable at scrabble. She was ruthless at the family Yankee Swaps, had a zany sense of humor and appreciated making others laugh right up until a few days before she died.

She is survived by her two sisters, Meredith Bennett of Taunton, Mass., and Ruth DaCosta of Upton, Mass. Her children include Darcy Davidson, Melissa Italia, and Jon Davidson. She remained forever heartbroken by the tragic death of her son, Alan (Skipper) Davidson, Jr. who died in 1979. She will be remembered fondly by her four grandchildren: Tyler Snover, Dylan Snover, Dominic Italia, and Angela Davidson. She was also a great grand-mother to Madyson Davidson and Cadynce Davidson.

Services will be held on Oct. 6, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Faith Community Bible Church, 334 N. Village Road, Loudon NH 03307.
