Robert McDermott

Concord, NH — Robert McDermott, age 70, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Concord, NH the son of the late Robert and Arlene (Crowley) McDermott.

He as a graduate of Concord High School Class of 1969 and attended Hesser College. He worked for the Merrimack Farmers Exchange for many years, Water Center and most recently Policy Well and Pump until his retirement.

Bob was an avid New England sports fan and loved attending Red Sox games. He loved his fantasy football league and traveling especially to Las Vegas. He also enjoyed attending concerts, spending time on his computer, and ice cream.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother Joseph McDermott.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Ouellette) McDermott; his son, Dylan McDermott and his wife Laura of Canaan; his daughter Sarah McDermott of Concord; 2 grandsons, CJ Escalera, and Brody McDermott, 2 granddaughters, Liadan and Avery McDermott; his brother, Mike McDermott of Palmetto, FL; and a niece Amy Augustine Grappone of Seattle, WA. Bob also leaves behind his faithful furbaby, Coleslaw, who brought him so much joy.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday (10/21) from 5-7 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday (10/27) at 11 AM at the Blossom Hill Cemetery, North State Street, Concord.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations In Bobs name to the Pope Memorial SPCA, 94 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH 03301

With the safety of our families and friends in mind, Bobs family kindly requests that masks be worn at Bobs visitation and service. Masks will be provided for those who need one.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
