Sarah Paveglio Obituary

Sarah A. Murphy Paveglio, 95, loving wife, mother and nana died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013 at Pleasant View Center.

She was born in Concord on Oct. 11, 1917, daughter of John and Alice (Howard) Murphy. She graduated from Concord High School class of 1936. She lived in Concord her entire life. Sarah was known to her family and friends as Sally. Sally worked at the Rumford Press and then went to work for the New Hampshire Bindery for 37 years. She was a longtime Parishioner of St. Peters Church.

She married Matthew Paveglio on Nov. 13, 1937. They enjoyed 66 years together. She was a very good seamstress and made her own wedding dress.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Ann Daley and her husband, Richard, of Manchester; granddaughter, Jane Flack and her husband, Greg, of California; two grandsons, Patrick Daley and his wife, Kate, of Manchester and Anthony Paveglio and his wife, Amanda, of Salisbury; Corinne B. Geary of Florida, a sister and friend; and nieces and nephews, especially Laurie Rogers, Pat Dumas and Mary Pierce. She was very proud of becoming a great nana to Sarah and Austin Flack of California and Piper Lynn Paveglio of Salisbury; in addition she is survived by her ex-daughter in law, Cindy Flynn, her family meant everything to her.

She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew; son, Michael Paveglio; three brothers, Paul, John and Lawrence Murphy; and her sister Corinne Murphy Paveglio.

Special thanks to all the nurses and staff on the fourth floor who cared for Sarah so well and to the CRVNA Hospice.

Visiting hours will not be held.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Church, 135 N. State St., Concord.

Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Concord.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CRVNA Hospice Program, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, 03301

My dearest Aunty Sally; you will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. Your pain is gone now and your wings have spread open to fly you free amongst all of gods angels.
