Thomas Dugas Obituary

Thomas A. Dugas

Chichester, NH - Thomas A. Dugas, 74, of Chichester, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

He was born on February 28, 1951, in Concord, son of the late Armand and Joanne (Richards) Dugas.

Tom worked for over 50 years with Holden Engineering, working for and with his best friend all over New England as a surveyor. He learned how to build houses early in life from his father and was known to be a jack of all trades. His experience and knowledge of how things were done was invaluable. Tom enjoyed nature and had a penchant for the outdoors. His hobbies included hunting, ice fishing, driving his Corvette and attending sporting events where he could be found cheering on his kids and later, his grandkids. He enjoyed drawing from an early age, drafting up blueprints for all sorts of things and never missed the opportunity to watch a Celtics or Patriots game from the comfort of his recliner. Though Tom could be known as a man of few words, those close to him knew a man with an endearing, sarcastic sense of humor who expressed his affection through actions. He was a devoted husband, loving father and so much more. He will be dearly missed.

Besides his parents, Tom was predeceased by his wife, Sharon C. (Callaghan) Dugas.

He is survived by his children, Kristen Dugas and her husband, Nick of Allenstown, Kara Dio and her husband, William IV of New Hampton, sisters, Janet Gurski and Jayne Glennon, sisters-in-law, Kathleen Baum and Jocelyn Whitworth, two grandchildren, Shane Milne and Brayden Provost, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 5PM-7PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, Epsom. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th at 11am at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Allenstown. To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com.
