Concord, NH - Thomas Arthur Riley, Jr. of Concord, NH, formerly of Bradford, NH, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, Feb 1, 2026.

Tom was a foundation rock for many throughout his 95 years, well known for his unwavering faith, inner and outer strength, his beaming smile, his "Riley sampler" sweet plates, and his ability to solve any puzzle, help anyone in need, and choose love and truth in every aspect of life.

Tom was the second of ten children, born in Boston October 18,1930. He attended Boston College High School, St John's Brighton, graduate school at Boston College, and worked in a variety of roles as a systems analyst, teacher, and leader. He married the love of his life, Janet Gilmore, in 1969, and the two have been inseparable for 57 years, dedicating their lives to family, friends and community.

Tom is survived by his wife Janet Gilmore Riley, daughters Kathleen Riley, Kristen Riley (Tim Blagden), Kerry Verschueren (Ben), son Matthew Riley (Jessica) and 9 beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers Paul, Andrew, Stephen, and George Riley, his sister Terry Miller, and a network of closely connected family and loved ones.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, Wilhelmina M Riley and Thomas A Riley, Sr., sisters Patricia McCorry, Agnes Singelais, Frances Saliga Smith, and his brother Joseph Riley.

Services will be held at St Theresa Parish in Henniker, NH. Viewing at 10:00am Friday Feb 6th, with a Mass to follow at 11:00am. Burial service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
