Dad,
I know I was a pain during my teenage years. However, years later I figured out why you wanted me to be a better man. Hard work and being accountable for your own actions is what I leaned from you as I shared this message with my soldiers and co workers.
I am thankful for whatever it is you brought to the world. You are at peace, you at home with mom, gram and grandpa.
Love you dad
Your son,
Michael
